The Corrective Adjustment Mechanism (patent pending) rear takedown pin will eliminate most AR-15 upper/lower fitment issues, whether too loose or too tight. Simply push the CAM in as if it were a typical takedown pin and then rotate it 90°.
Too Loose?
To address loose fitments, the CAM rear takedown pins are available in #2 thru #8 sizes, which tighten gaps from .002" up to .008", respectively.

Too Tight?
The CAM also provides relief from receivers that fit so tight as to require force to seat the takedown pin. Our #0 pin will cure these ailments.

How Much CAM
We recommend the use of a feeler gauge to determine the amount of compensation, but there are workarounds.
MSRx-CAM Type H
The Type H version of the CAM rear takedown pin has a pocket that will accept either a T-10 Torx or a 3/32" Allen (hex) wrench. If you have installed an optic or aftermarket sights on an AR, you likely have one or the other, or both.


MSRx-CAM Type S
Most of us will have a coin in our pocket, most of the time, so it only made sense to mill a coin slot in the head of the CAM pin. The base of the slot is milled with a radius that will accommodate everything from penny to a quarter to the rim of a cartridge to a house key, etc.
MSRx-CAM Type E
If you prefer a more tool-free option, the Type E extended CAM pin has a 3/8" knurled head along with a groove to facilitate rotation, as well as removal. There is also a T-10 Torx pocket should you need some "leverage".


How it works!
The Corrective Adjustment Mechanism pin simply takes advantage of the mil-spec tolerances of the lower receiver and takedown pin, as well as the oval shape of the hole in the upper receiver lug.
Know Your CAM
The end of each CAM pin is marked with the amount of corrective adjustment, in thousandths of an inch. A #4 = .004", the #7 = .007", and so on. The #0 pin indicates use for tight receiver fitments.


Installation Tool Kit
Understanding that not every AR owner has all of the tools or wherewithal necessary to bust loose the castle nut and stake a new endplate, we developed an installation kit that eliminates the need to remove the buffer tube, or stock.
