Tite-Fit RTP
If it requires a hammer to seat your rear takedown pin, you need this!
Mil-Spec
If you would like to fix a tight fitting upper to lower receiver combination, while retaining the original appearance of the weapon, we offer a mil-spec version of the Tite-Fix just for you. Nobody will ever see the difference.

Extended
For those who appreciate the ease and speed of extended rear takedown pins, we offer a version of the Tite-Fix made just for you. At 3/8" in length, the aggressively knurled surface provides a positive grip for speedy removal.
How it works!
In this diagram, the black circle represents the takedown pin holes in the lower receiver while the red oval indicates the hole in the rear lug of the upper. When there is a tight fitting combination, the lug in the upper doesn't extend far enough into the lower to align the holes. To remedy this situation, we mill approximately .006" from the bottom of the rear takedown pin, as is illustrated by the green line. This relief allows the Tite-Fit rear takedown pin to slip over the bottom of the elevated hole in the upper receiver lug, and easily enter the hole in the opposite side of the lower receiver.

We milled the Tite-Fix relief cut on a parkerized takedown pin to make it easy to see how little material needs to be removed to clearance an out of spec hole in your upper receiver lug. Installation of the Tite-Fix will result in about .002" of play, as opposed to hammer tight, which will be a welcome improvement to most owners.
However, if you would like to remove even that little bit of play, check out our CAM -0- rear takedown pin.
