Hard Cast

Hard Cast

Our heavyweight alternative to tungsten.

Buffer Weights

With basic H1 carbine buffers approaching $40 due to the the cost of tungsten, we had to start thinking outside of the box.  Hard cast lead is 50% heavier than steel, and having dug hard cast bullets out of a dirt berm that looked like they could be re-loaded and shot again, I can attest hard cast is more than up to the task. This 90/6/4 alloy (water quenched) exceeds 20 BHN, two to three times that of lead shot.

Bolt Weights

Those of us who can, do love to have fun with those forced reset triggers/safeties. When installed in a blowback pistol caliber AR, these systems demand removal/modification of the bolt weight. Since a blowback PCC requires a certain amount of weight to reliably function, removal may not be an option and not everyone has the means to modify one. Enter the hard cast PCC bolt weight.
